Application tips
First use: The plate is protected by a protective foil – remember to remove it before first use.
We create exceptionally detailed and innovative designs for you, so some of them may require a custom-tailored amount of stamping varnish to imprint with maximum precision.
- To make a pattern from the selected stamping plate pattern,
You must first prepare the nail surface properly:
- cover the hybrid styling with a matte top coat or matt its surface with a buffer, e.g. 180/240 grit, and clean thoroughly with a cotton pad soaked in Cleaner 1.
- gel styling – after filing, it is best to cover it with a matte top coat or mattify the surface with a buffer, e.g. 180/240 grit, and clean thoroughly with a cotton pad soaked in Cleaner 1.
- classic protein varnish – wait until the color layer is completely dry.
- The selected pattern on the plate should be cleaned with nail polish remover, Wipe Off Cleaner or classic Cleaner.
- The plate prepared in this way is ready for use – from this point on you need to work quickly to ensure the pattern is properly imprinted.
- Cover the design with stamping varnish – it can be a slightly thicker layer applied vertically across the design.
- Press the scraper against the surface of the tile – with a quick sideways movement – spread the varnish over the entire pattern.
- Using a silicone stamp, without pressing it against the plate, quickly remove the pattern from the plate.
- If the stamp contains fragments of another design or you only want to use a fragment of it, you can remove unwanted elements with adhesive tape, a clothes roller or a form.
- Transfer the prepared design to your nail. Using a rocking motion, gently press it across the entire surface to ensure it transfers smoothly to the nail and doesn't stick out anywhere.
- If any part of the design is sticking out, you can press it down with your finger, for example. If it's also on your cuticles, separate it with a wooden stick, for example. Don't remove it at this stage to avoid damaging the rest of the design on the nail.
- Once the design has dried, you can gently – without pressing the brush – secure it with your chosen top coat and cure it in the lamp.
- It's time to clean your cuticles – you can do this by using nail polish remover or Cleaner Wipe Off.
Cleaning tips
Under no circumstances should you wipe the stamp or scrapper with Cleaner No. 1, as this may damage their surface and adversely affect the quality of the stamp.
It's best to clean the stamp surface with tape, a form, or a lint roller. As a last resort, gently clean the surface with Wipe Off cleaner.
PRO TIP:
Clean the plate gently with a cotton swab soaked in Nail Polish Remover.
If you use gels for stamping, Wipe Off will work great.
If the gels on your nail plate harden, you can try soaking cotton pads in Remover for a few minutes, then cleaning the plate again with Cleaner Wipe Off. You can also soak the plate in warm water and gently remove the hardened gel from the nooks and crannies with a cotton swab.
Note: Scratching the surface too hard with a stick or other tools may cause scratches, which will negatively affect the quality of the printed patterns.
